Does my Ontario newborn get OHIP automatically?

Yes — OHIP enrollment is included in the 5-in-1 Newborn Bundle. Coverage begins at birth. The physical OHIP card arrives 4–6 weeks after registration.

What is the Ontario Learning Bond?

The Ontario Learning Bond (OLB) is a federal grant of up to $2,000 deposited into an eligible RESP for lower-income Ontario families. No RESP contribution is required. The first instalment is $500; subsequent years add $100/year until age 15.

What is the Ontario Child Benefit (OCB)?

The Ontario Child Benefit pays up to $140.80/month per child for eligible Ontario families. It is calculated automatically when you file your taxes — no separate application required.
